The following document outlines how to record your voice for voiceover work with marketing department.  Please visit the relevant section according to your device.

Recording Best Practices

  • Make sure you have a quiet place to record
  • Place your phone a stable surface where you can easily start the recording, ideally flat and face-up with the bottom of the phone pointed towards you
  • Try not to shuffle papers while recording.  If you do have to shuffle or move papers, do not speak during the shuffling.  Pause and then continue.  This is the same is clicking on a screen.  Pause when clicking, and then continue.

iPhone/iPad Recording and Sharing Step-by-step guide

  1. On your iPhone/iPad, go to the Voice Memos app
  2. To begin recording, click the red record button
  3. Once complete, you can review your recording and record again if you prefer.
  4. When you have a recording you like, click the 3 blue dots on the left-hand side of the recording and select Share


  5. Share using the preferred method indicated by the person you are recording for
