How to Update Your Profile

At Lambton College there are some items that can be updated to ensure you are addressed how you would like to be. This includes updating the name you would like to go by and the pronouns you would like to be used.

Chosen Name

To update your Chosen Name please complete the following steps:

1. login to https://selfservice.lambtoncollege.ca/

   1. use just your c0 number without the @mylambtoncollege.ca

2. Select the Menu on the left hand side.
   
   

   Open

   

3. Select the User Options then User Profile
   
   

   Open

   

4. Select Edit Personal Identity

5. Fill out the Chosen Name fields
   
   

6. Click Save

This name will be used to update the following Lambton College solutions:

• Desire2Learn

• M365 (Team, Outlook, Microsoft Profile)

• myLambton

• Clockwork

Pronouns

To update you Pronoun in Self Service follow the steps above. Pronouns set in Self Service are only viewable by the user that set them and Student Services employees.

To update M365 (Microsoft) please complete the following steps.

1. Select your profile picture in the upper right corner of Teams, then select your name/email address.
   
   

2. On your profile card, select + Pronouns or the pronouns listed below your name.
   
   

3. To add or change your pronouns, select from the examples (only available in English), or enter your own. To delete, remove your pronouns.

   Note: Pronouns must be 60 characters or less, including spaces.
   
   

4. ​​​Select Save to update your profile. Select Cancel if you don't want to save your changes. In the example below, Elvia Atkins has chosen She/Her as her pronouns. Changes are updated and reflected on your profile card immediately after you select Save.

5. Select Got it to exit the confirmation dialog.

6. Pronouns set in M365 are viewable by everyone connected to Lambton College.
