Connecting Devices to an Apple TV

A number of meeting rooms and classrooms across the college have Apple TV. The following instructions will take you through the process of connecting your IOS device to an Apple TV so you can display what is on your device on the TV in the room.
How to connect
Swipe once from top to bottom and tap the AirPlay or Screen Mirroring icon from the list of option.
Select the Apple TV you'd like to connect to - the room number will be in brackets(Ex:A1-203 Apple TV).
A box will appear asking for an AirPlay Code - this will be displayed on the Apple TV you are trying to connect to.
Type in the code and select OK.
When you are finished your AirPlay session, swipe up and tap the AirPlay or Screen Mirroring icon to disconnect from the TV.
Only the following devices are compatible with Apple TV (3rd generation) - versions installed at Lambton College
iPad - iOS 4.3 or later
iPhone (3GS or later) - iOS 4.3 or later
iPod Touch (2nd Generation or later) - iOS 4.3 or later
Computer - iTunes 10.2 or later
Apple TV - Apple TV software version 5.1 or later
