Create a Random Question Pool in D2L Quizzes

 Instructions

  1. Go to Quizzes

  2. Click the name of your quiz

  3. Click Create New and then Question Pool

  4. Enter a title for the question pool

  5. Enter the number of questions to select from the pool

  6. Enter the number of points each question is worth

  7. Click Browse Question Library

  8. Select the questions you want to include in the question pool

  9. Click Import to add the questions to the question pool

  10. Click Save

  11. Click Save and Close

 

You can create multiple Random Question Pools within your quiz/test.

Consider how you set up or organize your Question Library to achieve the type of question randomization that you require. For example, you may want to organize your Question Library into several sections/folders based on chapters or units. This will allow for more specific creation of random question pools.
