Setting up D2L Quizzes
The Quizzes tool in D2L allows faculty to create, administer, and manage online assessments, including multiple-choice, short answer, and essay questions. Instructors can customize quiz settings, such as time limits, attempt allowances, and feedback options, to align with course goals and assessment needs. Quizzes can be used for formative assessments, summative exams, or practice tests, and the tool integrates with the gradebook for automatic grading of objective questions. Faculty can also set up question banks to randomize questions, enhancing test security and ensuring a unique experience for each student. Additionally, the Quizzes tool offers various reporting features, allowing instructors to review student performance, analyze question statistics, and track overall progress. This makes it a versatile and efficient tool for assessing student learning in an organized, secure environment.
