Creating a Paper Test from a D2L Test
This document serves as a guide for faculty members who wish to create a paper copy of their D2L test. By following the outlined steps, instructors can easily preview their test with all questions displayed on a single page, select and copy the content, and paste it into a Word document for printing. This process ensures that all test questions are accurately transferred and formatted for offline use, providing a convenient way to distribute tests to students in a physical format.
Instructions
Here are the steps:
Log in to D2L: Start by logging into your D2L account and navigate to the course that contains the test you want to print.
Access the Test: Go to the "Quizzes" section of your course and select the test you want to print.
Preview the Test: Click on the "Preview" option to view the test. Ensure that all questions are displayed on one page. If they are not, you may need to adjust the settings or pagination to display all questions on a single page.
Select All Questions: Once all questions are displayed on one page, click and drag your mouse to select all the text. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut

(Mac) to select all the content.Copy the Selected Text: After selecting all the questions, copy the text by right-clicking and selecting "Copy" or using the keyboard shortcut
