POLICY NO: 4-011

Lambton College has a policy of a “tobacco free environment” in which smoking or the use of smokeless tobacco is prohibited except at specified locations throughout the College. This includes all properties and vehicles owned, rented or leased by Lambton College.

This policy applies to all full and part-time employees, students, contractors and visitors. All events (including conferences) hosted on property owned, rented or leased by the College on or off campus are subject to this policy.

Lambton College will not condone the promotion, advertising or sale of any tobacco products or related paraphernalia on College property. In addition, corporate tobacco sponsorship of College events or groups is prohibited.

The President will establish procedures to ensure compliance with this policy.
