What are Confluence Blog Posts?
Purpose: Blog posts are typically used for time-sensitive announcements, updates, or sharing thoughts and ideas with a wider audience within the organization. They are more suitable for communication that has a specific publish date and may become less relevant over time.
Chronological Order: Unlike pages, blog posts are displayed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent posts appearing first. This makes them ideal for keeping team members updated on the latest news or developments.
Commenting and Engagement: Blog posts often encourage more discussion and engagement through comments, making them suitable for fostering conversations and gathering feedback.
Notifications: When a new blog post is published, it can trigger notifications to team members, ensuring that important updates are not missed.
Less Hierarchical: Blog posts are typically not organized in a hierarchical structure like pages. Instead, they are often categorized using tags or labels for easier filtering and searching.
Archiving: Older blog posts naturally move down the list as new ones are published, making it easy to keep the most current information visible while maintaining a historical record of updates
Labels
You can attach labels to blog posts and then use the Labels macro to organize them.
