Since the college's rebrand in 2018, there are now guidelines for email signatures. In keeping with college brand, it is recommended that you use the following email signature:

Outlook Desktop Application:

Using a PC:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select File.
  3. Select Options.
  4. Select Mail and then click on Signatures.
  5. If you already have a signature, you can edit this or create a NEW signature.
  6. Download the Email Signature Template and open the file to copy the content - including the logo.
  7. Paste the content into the signature configuration page and update template with your information.
  8. Under Choose Default Signature set New Messages and Replies/Forwards to the signature you just created.
  9. Click OK on the signatures screen and the options screen.
  10. When you create a new email, reply or forward your new signature should appear.

Using a MAC:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select Outlook and then Preferences.
  3. Download the Email Signature Template and open the file to copy (Command + C) the content.
  4. Select Signatures and choose Edit.
  5. Paste (Command + V) the signature template content into the pop-up box.


Outlook Web Application (OWA):

  1. Once logged in, select the Options Cog in the upper-right of the browser window and choose View All Outlook Settings.
  2. On the pop-up, select Mail from Settings pane and then Compose and reply to view Signature option.

  3. Download the Email Signature Template and open the file to copy the content .

    Character limit

    OWA does not accept as many characters in a signature.  If you get a signature too long error, you will need to trim the size of your signature.

  4. Be sure to select the Automatically include my signature on new messages I compose button and/or Automatically include my signature on messages I forward and reply to.
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the pop-up page before closing it.
  6. Now when you compose a new e-mail or reply you should see your new signature.
