Please follow these steps to check your first name, last name and student ID in the Self Service section of myLambton. This information must match exactly with your first name, last name and student ID in the RCTC portal in order for your completed training micro-credentials to display correctly in the portal.

PLEASE NOTE: when creating your portal account, be sure that the following information matches exactly with what is in your Lambton College student account.

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Student ID (also called a c#)

  • Date of birth

If any of the above information does not match exactly with your Lambton College student account, your completed micro-credentials will not be reflected in your RCTC portal account.

  1. Go to the RCTC Portal homepage: https://lcpt-prod.herokuapp.com/

  2. Select the Sign Up button

  3. Create your account by filling in your information on the registration page:

  4. Remember the username and password you have created for the RCTC Portal. You will need it to login to the portal once you have confirmed your registration.

  5. After you select Submit on the registration page, you will receive a confirmation email from LCPT Webportal <sergevasco10@gmail.com>. Be sure to check your junk mail folder in case the email has been sent there by your spam filter.

Instructions

  1. Go to the Care Passport Portal Sign in page at carepassport.ca

  2. Select the SignUp button

  3. Fill in all of the required information and remember the following:

    1. If you’ve been a student or employee at Lambton College:

      1. Make sure you use the same name as you did when you attended or worked at Lambton College

      2. Be sure to insert your student number (c01234567)

    2. If you’ve never studied or worked at Lambton College:

      1. Select “Request a new student number”

    3. Consent to the terms and conditions.

  4. Confirm Registration - You will receive an email from carepassport@lambtoncollege.ca (check your junk mail) and you will have to confirm the email to activate your portal account. This email will confirm:

    1. Your username, and

    2. Your 4-digit portal ID

  5. Once you have confirmed your registration, you will receive a second email that welcomes you to the portal. This welcome email will include:

    1. First name;

    2. Last name;

    3. Your username;

    4. Portal ID; and

    5. Links to how-to articles

Please Note: Once you have completed these 5 steps, you will need to provide your employer with the following details so that they can assign you to a home and a role - this must happen before you can begin registering for courses:

  1. First Name

  2. Last Name

  3. Birth Date - written out Month DD, YYYY

  4. Portal ID (portal ID can be found under the Profile tab)
