  1. Click Assessments

  2. Click Quizzes

  3. Click on your quiz

  4. Click on "Not in Gradebook"

  5. Choose "Edit or Link to Existing"

  6. Choose "Link to Existing Grade Item”

  7. Choose the corresponding grade item (e.g. Quiz #2)

  8. Save

  9. Save and Close

Note

If the grades don’t publish to your gradebook, double check your quiz settings (specifically the Evaluation & Feedback section) and be sure that the “Synchronize to grade book on publish” box has been checked.

Note

If you don’t see the corresponding grade item that you would like to associate the quiz with (assuming your gradebook is set up), it likely means that the grade item is already associated with another assessment. In this case, you will need to remove the association.
